TicketPeak Introduces Event Archiving

16 Mar

Many of our clients have been with us for some time and have used TicketPeak for a good number of Events.  Until now, those Events stayed on the Events page – making it necessary to scroll around the page to get to the particular Event you want.

Now, if an Event date is in the past, the Edit button switches to an Archive button.

Clicking the Archive button remove the Event from the main Events page and puts it onto an Archived Events page.  Archiving an Event does not remove it from any reports, and you can un-Archive it any time if you wish.

TicketPeak Introduces Single Use Promotions

16 Mar

Many TicketPeak clients have the following situation: “We want to let certain people have one free ticket.”  This requirement is common with schools who want to allow faculty one free ticket for the run of the show.

You can now do this. When you are defining a Promotion, simply click the checkbox for “Limt to only one use per email” When you then assign that Promotion to an Event, TicketPeak keeps track of which email used the Promotion to buy a ticket and prevents them from using it a second time.

Once you have defined the Promotion and assigned it to the Event, you can let eligible people know the code so they can get their one discounted ticket!

New Reporting Capability from TicketPeak

15 May

TicketPeak has introduced a much more extensive set of reports. Here is a summary of each of the new reports:

Sales Report Version 2

This report shows, for each event, the number of tickets sold, the revenue at face value, the service fees, discounts and the next revenue. It can be filtered by order type (Cash, Credit, Online), by date, or by event. Like all reports, it can be downloaded into excel.

Analysis

The Analysis report is a large collection of most of the information associated with your ticket sales for each event, including number of tickets sold, revenue, discounts and services fees by price category, promotion, service fee type and referral type.  There is a lot of data in this report.  It is useful for situations where you wish to download data to excel and analyze it by sorting or filtering.

This report outlines the tickets sold and revenue for each event across each promotion or discount type. It allows you to see whihc promotions are being used most often.

Existing Reports

Of course, the reports that were already in place are still there, including

TicketPeak Introduces Immediate Ticket Links

15 May

TicketPeak has introduced the ability for ticket buyers to recieve the link to their tickets immediately – without having to wait for the system to send them an email.  To enable this feature, sign in, go to the Setup page, and check the box next to “Include Ticket Link on Success Page”.

When you choose that option, ticket buyers will see the link to their tickets as soon as they finish paying for them.  We recommend that you let the system send the ticket buyer an email with the link in case she is not in a position to print the tickets when she purchases them.

Should you have any questions about this feature, please contact us at info@apparen.com.

TicketPeak Introduces Blocking Capability

12 Apr

We have introduced the ability to block seats in the TicketPeak ticketing solution. Here are examples where this feature is useful:

  • You are an event promoter and are responsible for selling some, but not all, the seats for the event.  You can block the seats that are being sold by someone else.
  • You wish to “save” seats for certain people. You block them, then unblock them later.
  • For a particular event, you wish to block seats that have an obstructed view, or are occupied by video or other equipment.
  • You wish to “dress” the house. That is, you may wish to block the rows in the back so that the rows closer to the stage are occupied first, then unblock the back rows if you need the space.

Here’s how to use it: When you are signed in, on the Events page, you will see a “Block Seats” button next to each Reserved Seating event. Clicking it will take you to the seating map if the venue does not have sections (or to the section image if the venue does have sections, in which case, you click the section in which you wish to block seats, and the seating map for that section will appear). You then simply click the seats you wish to block, then click “block”.

If you would like more information about this feature or about other aspects of the TicketPeak ticket system, please contact us at info@apparen.com.

TicketPeak Introduces Affiliate Program

11 Apr

We have introduced an Affiliate program to help spread the word about the TicketPeak ticket software and to allow referrers to earn referral fees.  This program will allow existing TicketPeak users to recover the license fees of the system or allow anyone who wishes to introduce the TicketPeak ticketing system to potential users to earn commission.

Becoming an Affiliate is easy. Simply click here.  Once you are signed up, you will have a link that you post  or send to people.  When someone clicks your link, they go to www.ticketpeak.com. If they create an account from there, we will know that they were referred by you, and we will know to pay you the referral fees.

The referral fees that we pay are 40% of the revenue from the referred client in Year 1 and 20% of the revenue from the referred client in Year 2.  You need a PayPal account as that is where your referral fees are paid.

TicketPeak Adds Section Capabilities for Large Venues

11 Apr

The TicketPeak ticketing software is being used by larger and larger venues, who have asked for the ability to break up their seating into sections.  If you have a large venue, and wish to break it into sections, you can now do that.  The following is an example:

Note that hovering over a section lets the buyer know whether or not there are seats available. Once the buyer clicks a section, the seating map for that section is shown, and the buyer can proceed to select seats. Of course, the buyer can add seats from other sections or from other events.

If you have any questions about this feature or about the TicketPeak ticketing system, please send us a note at info@apparen.com.
